Good evening neighbors,
It has been brought to my attention that there have been a few recent incidents of outgoing mail theft. Please be vigilant and keep a watchful eye out not only for ourselves, but our wonderful neighbors as well.
In addition to keeping an eye out for suspicious activity, here are a few additional tips that might help enhance the security of outgoing mail:
Use a Secure Mailbox: Consider using a mailbox with a lock to prevent unauthorized access to your outgoing mail.
Drop Mail at the Post Office: If possible, drop important mail directly at the post office or a secure postal collection box.
Schedule Mail Pickups: If you’re mailing something valuable, you can schedule a pickup with the postal service to ensure it’s collected directly from your home.
Consider Electronic Communication: Whenever possible, consider using electronic methods for communication and bill payments to reduce the need for physical mail.
By working together and staying informed, we can help create a safer and more secure neighborhood for everyone. Wishing our neighbors a safe and joyful holiday season.
Greetings from new HOA president:
Dear Millstone Ridge Residents,
I hope this email finds you well and in good spirits. My name is Wendy Lewis, and I would like to introduce myself as the newly elected President of our wonderful Homeowners Association. My husband Nate and I have lived in Millstone Ridge with our two children, Max and Eve, for over 7 years now. As a local realtor, I can tell you that we are all so fortunate to live in such an amazing neighborhood! My family has loved living here and we truly enjoy getting to know our neighbors.
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the warm and welcoming atmosphere that defines our neighborhood. As president, I would like to continue with open communication and collaboration within our community. Please feel free to reach out with any suggestions, concerns, or ideas you may have for enhancing our neighborhood further. Your input is appreciated, and I look forward to working together to make Millstone Ridge an even better place to call home.
Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful Thanksgiving and a wonderful Holiday season filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished moments.
Fall 2023 Update:
Hello everyone! I hope you had a great summer and are ready for some cooler weather.
The pool will close for the season on Sunday, Sept 24th.
Our Neighborhood Yard Sale will be on Saturday, Oct 7th.
Our Annual HOA Meeting will occur on Wednesday, Oct 25 at 6:3Øpm over Zoom. Last year’s meeting had problems with people joining, however, that will not be a problem this year. Paper notices and Board Nomination sheets will be mailed to you from Hawthorne soon.
I am resigning my position as President of the Board for the coming year. To carry us forward, I would like to suggest we nominate our neighbor Wendy Lewis to take over as President. She and I have discussed the responsibilities and tasks and we are both confident that she will be able to lead our board in the future. I will serve on her board for at least the next year to help with transition.
You will receive board nomination forms in the mail before the annual meeting in October. Please return these to Hawthorne with the nomination of Wendy along with any other people that are interested in serving with us.
Thank you and please let me know if you have any questions.
